What is LESS? It stands for Low-Effort Short Story – something I made up (patent pending, etc.). These are original short stories published only here on this site and are simply creative outlet projects. What that means is that they are edited minimally by the author with little time (if any) spent in planning or plotting–hence “low-effort.” Are they good? Ha! Well, it’s not really about that, is it? These works are about being consistent in writing: Blocked on where to go with a current project? Write a LESS to keep creativity going; Bored? Write a LESS to stay consistent with daily writing goals without the pressure. So, maybe they are good, maybe not. It doesn’t really matter. Besides, what is “good” to one reader is “crap” to another. Hopefully you readers will find them entertaining either way.
